Your pattern opens your world.

What is Kofrix?+
Kofrix is a private vault for iPhone and Android. It encrypts your photos, videos, notes and files on your phone, and only the pattern you draw can open them. There is no account and no server holding your files.
Are my photos just hidden, or encrypted?+
Encrypted. Each file is encrypted with AES-256-GCM and its own random key before it is written to the phone. A hidden album only takes photos out of view; Kofrix turns them into data that is unreadable without your pattern.
Do I need an account?+
No. No email, no sign-up, no profile. Subscriptions go through the App Store or Google Play under an anonymous identifier.
What if I forget my pattern?+
Enter your recovery phrase: Kofrix finds your vaults and lets you set a new pattern. The phrase is shown only once, when you set up the app, and is never stored, so export it or write it down somewhere safe.
Can someone tell how many vaults I have?+
Not from the app. The unlock screen is the same whether you have zero vaults or ten, and an unknown pattern just opens a new, empty vault. Kofrix doesn’t limit the number of vaults, even on the free plan, so no screen ever gives the count away.
Is there a cloud backup?+
Not yet. Your files stay on your phone, so if you delete the app or lose the phone without a backup, they are gone. Encrypted backup is planned; until then, don’t keep the only copy of an irreplaceable file in any single app.
Is Kofrix free?+
You can start for free with up to 100 photos and 10 videos per vault, and as many vaults as you like. Kofrix Pro removes the limits, with weekly, yearly (with a free trial) or one-time lifetime plans.
Does Kofrix delete the originals from my photo library?+
Not yet. After importing, delete the originals from your Photos app yourself, then empty “Recently Deleted”, otherwise a copy remains outside the vault.
