Kofrix is built so that we can’t see your files. This policy covers the Kofrix app and this website.

The short version
Your photos, videos, notes, files, patterns and recovery phrase never leave your phone unencrypted, and never reach us at all. We have no account system and no analytics in the app.
Who is responsible
Kofrix is published by Adel Bailek, an individual based in France. For any privacy question, write to privacy@kofrix.com.
What stays on your phone
Everything you put in a vault is encrypted on the phone and stored only there. Keys are derived from your pattern and protected by the phone’s keychain. We have no copy and no way to decrypt them.
Purchases
Subscriptions and lifetime purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). To check whether you have Pro, the app uses RevenueCat with an anonymous, random identifier. It receives your purchase history and device information, never the content of your vaults. We never see your card number.
Permissions
Photos: only to import the items you select. Camera and microphone: only when you take a photo or video in the app. Everything captured goes straight into the vault, encrypted.
This website
The site has no account, no form and no advertising or analytics tools, and sets no cookies. Our host processes technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver pages. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address.
Your rights
Since we hold no personal data about you beyond what Apple, Google and RevenueCat process for purchases, deleting the app erases everything. You can ask questions or exercise your rights (access, deletion, complaint to your data protection authority) at privacy@kofrix.com.
